Basement Waterproofing and Flood Prevention

Challenge: The customer’s basement was flooded due to water penetration through the foundation and basement walls, which lacked an effective internal or external waterproofing system.
Our Solution: We began by waterproofing the exterior walls, focusing on problem areas like poorly caulked and insulated joints between walls and windows. Inside the basement, we excavated a trench along the perimeter of the walls to install a weeping pipe system. The water collected in the trench was directed to a newly installed sump pump, which efficiently redirected groundwater away from the property.
